Mr. Alphonso Butler, a resident of Shorter, Alabama, passed Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Montgomery, Alabama. Funeral services are scheduled Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Greater White Church, Shorter, Alabama, Rev. Herbert Griggs, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Churchyard Cemetery, Shorter, Alabama. Mr. Butler will lie in state one hour prior to service. Professional services provided by Burton's Funeral Home.
