Joseph L. Walker, Sr.

Mr. Joseph L. Walker, Sr., a resident of Shorter, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Baptist Health South, Montgomery, Alabama.  A public viewing will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm at Burton's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 12 noon from Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Tuskegee, Alabama , Dr.C. P. Noble, Pastor; Rev. Freddie Jackson, Pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church, Shorter, Alabama, officiating. Interment will follow in the First Missionary Baptist Churchyard Cemetery. Mr. Walker will lie in state one hour prior to funeral. Professional services provided by Burton's Funeral Home.
