Mr. Leon Washington, a resident of Shorter, passed on May 23, 2021 in his home. Public Viewing will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 from 1:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. at Burton's Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held at Damascus Cemetery Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Leon Baker, Pastor and Rev. Jonathan Temple, Officiating.

Body will Lie-state from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
