Ms. Mattie Varner passed away on January 16, 2023, at her home. Funeral service will be held on January 21,2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Society Hill, Pastor Calvin L. Daniels with Rev. Chester Levett, officiating. Burton's Funeral Home Directing. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. in Burton's Funeral Home Chapel.

Ms. Mattie Varner will lie in state one hour prior to service.
