Funeral service will be held Saturday April 16,2016 at 11:00am from the Matthews Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church Cecil, Alabama. Rev. Robert McCloud ,Pastor and Rev. Cedric Burrell, Pastor of the New Mt. Sillar Baptist Church Officiating. Burial in New Mt. Sillar Baptist Church Cemetery, Chesson, Alabama. The Body will Lie in State at  the Church 10:00 am -11:00am. Burton's Funeral Home Staff Directing.

She leaves to Cherish her memories;One brother:Robert(Carolyn) Burton; Chesson, Alabama; Three Sisters: Geneva Taggart, Oakland, CA ,Mary A. Burton ,Antioch ,CA and Elizabeth Burton Chesson,Al One Grandson. Two Sister-in-Laws; Jeraldine Burton Mobile,AL and Thelma M. Burton Montgomery, AL; Five Uncles Lewis (Tess),Jessie(Dorothy),Ellias (Ann), Johnny(Gloria),and Jimmy(Doris) Thompson; Four Aunts Carrie (Herman) Taylor, Ludell (Muhasibi) Khayyam,Sarah and Eula Thompson and a number of nieces,nephews.family and extended family friends.
