Catherine Dawkins

Ms. Catherine Dawkins, a former resident of Macon County (Society Hill Community), Alabama, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. A public viewing will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Burton's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from Burton's Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Bernard T. Rose, Pastor, Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Hurtsboro, Alabama, officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrew Chapel AME Zion Churchyard Cemetery, Hurtsboro, Alabama. 

Ms. Dawkins is survived by three devoted children: daughters, Jeanette Dawkins Goshay and Helen Dawkins, son, Tyrone Dawkins; two (2) grandchildren; three (3) great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Ms. Catherine Dawkins will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral services. Final care and professional arrangements entrusted to Burton's Funeral Home where "We Cherish the Ones You Love".
